My Ipod got wet four days ago? Help!?

My Ipod got wet 4 days ago wen I was at the beach and I kept it in my backpack until now. I plugged it up the computer and it turned on and came up to the screen that tells you to connect to Itunes like when you first get it. So I opened my itunes to sync everything back but Itunes says my Ipod must be Unlocked before it can sync and The Ipod wont let me go to the lock screen. What can I do? Please helpp! Thanks:)
